This course will focus on the basics of developing your juvenile or older dog into a well-mannered family companion. The goal is to improve your working relationship with your dog and establish the foundation needed for effective dog training.
We will focus on the basics of the Lifesaving Come!, Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, How to Walk on a Leash without pulling, Proper Etiquette for meeting other dogs and people. Don’t want your dog to jump on you or other people?… What to expect of your dog during social interactions such as vet trips, park visits and family visits. We will also cover behavioral issues, the use of a crate as a secure “den” for your dog, as well as avoiding possible problems in the future. By the time of graduation, you will have a basic working relationship with your dog. GROUP CLASS INFO:
